Terry's Paintings

I have had a passion for drawing since childhood. Upon graduation with honours from Beal School of Art in London, Ontario, my career path took me into television news. For the first few years, I worked as an illustrator in the news department and the remaining years I spent behind and in front of the camera. Upon the advent of early retirement, my love for the arts received its deserved attention and I started painting full-time. Working in various media, I settled on acrylics. Each canvas tells a story, often humorous, always bold. Living on Amherst Island, close to Kingston's energetic art community, has provided me with never-ending inspiration.

I am a member of the Kingston Arts Council, the Acrylic Painters Society of Ontario, the Kingston School of Art, and the Kingston Arts and Letters Club.

My paintings are in various private collections throughout Ontario, Edinburgh, Scotland, London, England and Hamburg, Germany.
