Terry has had a passion for drawing since childhood. Upon graduation with honours from Beal School of Art in London, Ontario, his career path took him into television news. For the first few years, Terry worked as an illustrator in the news department and the remaining years were spent behind and in front of the camera. Upon the advent of early retirement, his love for the arts received its deserved attention and he started painting full-time. Working in various media, Terry settled on acrylics. Each canvas tells a story, often humorous, always bold. Living in Prince Edward County, close to an energetic art community, has provided him with never-ending inspiration.
Terry is a member of the Kingston Arts Council, the Acrylic Painters Society of Ontario, the Kingston School of Art, and the Kingston Arts and Letters Club.
His paintings are in various private collections throughout Ontario, Edinburgh, Scotland, London, England and Hamburg, Germany.
